Why am I joining the march? “Human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights.” I am marching for women’s rights, disability rights, LBGTQ rights, immigrant rights, right to practice the religion of your choice, right to free speech and free assembly, POC rights, rights to access affordable healthcare, right to sex education and family planning services. I am angry. Very angry. I’ve been fighting misogyny since the 80s and can’t believe how far and how rapidly we are sliding backwards. This must stop now!
