have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare connective tissue disorder. I’m a triple-double on replacements: both shoulders, both hips, both knees. I’ve had a cervical fusion, too. I had my right hip replaced on January 16, 2017, so I’m down for a while. Even if it weren’t for the surgery, I simply can’t walk too far. I look just fine, thank you, but the surgeries take their toll. Without decent health care, I’d be doomed. I worked in government over 25 years and know we’re all dependent on good government. I’d march for women’s rights, disability rights, decent education, healthcare, and fair treatment for all. This is America, people! Care for everyone, please. Even those government employees we depend on.
