I have had pre-existing conditions my entire life. The major one, migraines, are the reason I’m in an inpatient headache clinic right now. I will be discharged tomorrow in time to participate in Chicago’s sister march, but the best laid plans don’t always stay that way with chronic pain. I was devastated by the election of Donald Trump and what he and Congress might do to destroy the ACA, a lifeline for so many people. I’m marching for that, and for my friends of every faith and ethnic background. I’m marching for hopeful young women everywhere.
