Beth Davis-Hofbauer

Though not in the US, I live in a country which is dealing with its own disaster due to the decisions of a few. In a time when our rights are being silently and insidiously eroded, and in some cases, where women are still silent and treated as second class citizens, we need to all join together and stand up for the rights of women, the disabled and those of us who find ourselves faced with something we didn’t vote for and are vehemently opposed to (in my case like 48% of brits, brexit).

I cannot join the march today in my nearest city, Southampton due to the fact that public transport is so poor in the UK that I cannot safely travel on the bus or train in my wheelchair. However, I am there in spirit and joining with everyone else who will not be silenced.
