Why I Am Joining The March: I’ve just been cleared for driving and exercising post-hysterectomy, but a long drive followed by a march (in my home city of Cape Town) — probably not prudent for me just yet.
Because I’m South African, I know how easily evil can be normalized. And how necessary peaceful protest is. That’s why I’m marching virtually for justice and human rights, and the wonderful thing about this initiative is that I can do that here and abroad.
I’m a writer, academic, editor, teacher, activist, feminist. I blog at http://helenmoffett.bookslive.co.za/blog/. I support http://rapecrisis.org.za/
