Shoshona McAvoy

I love this opportunity.  My mom will march in our local Women’s March, but I am confined to a hospital bed for most of the time.

(She is my typist, too; and does help me with editing…but the thoughts and beliefs are mine.)
My name is Shoshana McAvoy.
I was born with brain damage and that has created some challenges in my life – but also taught me to honor and respect the uniqueness of every individual, their right to autonomy and how powerful we each are in our own lives.  But sometimes we have to remind the world.
