Retired university professor. Always been involved with women’s issues. Experienced a lot of sexism.

I’m joining because I’m a single, disabled woman – and it’s ridiculously hard to live like that.

I’m marching because Trumps sexist views are devastating to years of campaigning for equal rights.

I want to march to show I care for and respect all people, even those I don’t understand or who outwardly aren’t like me.

I am unable to march with you, as I live and work in Europe at the moment, but I will be with you in spirit!

am participating on behalf of Americans with invisible disabilities – those who look “fine” and may need to take the elevator one floor at work; for those who have to work extra hard to hide their mental illness for fear of stigma and discrimination both at work, church and in the community.

We march for people of all races and cultures, for their right to equality, respect, healthcare, and the pursuit of happiness!

I will march with my words by speaking up against abuse, bigotry and hate and by fighting for equality and peace.

I do hope that by participating in this virtual march I am joining in the need to promote greater understanding and compassion for the disabled.
